Hillis and McGee are two family names that go back several generations in the state of Tennessee. All throughout the Appalachian region there are many cultures and traditions passed down through the families. One of those traditions happens to be moonshine. The aptitude for distilling spirits from corn is one of the most historical and fascinating characteristics of the south.
We here at Hillis & McGee would like to share this tradition with you. Our 250 year old recipe for corn liquor or “American white whiskey” is one we hope you allow yourself to experience. With all natural ingredients and the proper care we know you will truly enjoy and taste the history in each glass.
